Hotel accommodation are twin rooms only, if you are booked as a individual you will be roomed with someone of the same sex. However we offer the opportunity to pay a supplement to pre-book a single room.(Apply for large groups)
We strongly recommends you obtain travel insurance at the time you pay for your travel/air tickets. Failure to obtain travel insurance is at your own risk.
Unexpected situations can arise before or during your holiday so we recommend that all clients take out travel insurance to cover such events.A suitable insurance policy should provide adequate cover for medical expenses arising through illness or accident prior to or during the holiday, including evacuation and repatriation in an emergency, and loss of holiday monies through cancellation or curtailment of the holiday for insurable reasons.
The travel insuarance should include but not limited to:
•Loss of money through cancellation or deferment due to unforeseen circumstances;
•Loss or damage to personal baggage and loss of money and other valuables;
•Medical expenses; When obtaining travel insurance you must declare all pre-existing medical conditions and any adventurous activities, e.g. skiing, scooter hire, etc.

Credit Card payments
Our payment conditions are very transparent. We don’t demand customers to pay 60% of the total tour price like most other tour operators. After the travellers accept our total package price we request them to keep a deposit on our PayPal account as a guarantee of the genuine purchase. PayPal is the most trusted online money transferring agent in the world. The customers do not need to disclose their bank details, debit or credit card details to us , Lanka Tour Managers when pay online with PayPal platform. This amount will be 10% to 20% from the package price in most occasions. PayPal charges 4% administration cost. It will be added to all credit card payment.
For larger groups different conditions may apply.
Payment via Bank transfer
Alternatively customers can pay through bank cheque or international money transfer to Lanka Tour Manager’s bank account. Most money transfers reach us in one or two working days. Please note that when sending money transfers, charges are to be paid. All bank transfers charges/fees to be borne by travellers.
Balance to be paid by US dollars in full on arrival, this can be made in Sri Lanka air port.
Before the bookings are made Lanka Tour managers gives the list of our network‘s tourist hotels and their grades. As a principle we book hotel accommodations for large group travellers under their names (Customers/Travellers must provide accurate passport details name, expiry dates etc.). After this we inform the customers the details of the hotels, which bookings are made and how to check with the hotel management whether hotel rooms are reserved under their name, dates and other arrangements.
Some clients (only a minority) request many hours of research and bookings for tailormade holidays and then casually cancel without explanation. Lanka Tour Managers appriciate its customers with higher values and standards which thankfully are adhered to by the majority.
Notice of trip cancellations received less than 4 weeks prior to departure are subject to a cancellation fee of 10% of the payment made. Cancellations received less than 2 weeks prior to departure are subject to forfeiture of 20% of the total tour package price. All tour group members who cancel the tour within 5 days of the starting day of the tour forfeiture of 50% total cost.
All refund payments are subject to deduct any bank charges and hotel administration charges applicable.
There shall be no refund if the tour participant does not or cannot utilize any service included in the tour cost of the tour like meals, hotel rooms , excursions etc.(contact your travel insurance provider for further advice)
Foreign Travel Agents
Balance of payment for all tours are due 5 days prior to tour departure date. Failure to pay on or before 5 days of the tour commencement, will/may result in all bookings being cancelled and deposit along with any other payments made being forfeited/lost or refunds are made according to the company refund policy.
Personal expenses such as alcoholic drinks, non alcoholic drinks, lunches (except where specifically included) telephone calls, tips and portage will not be borne by us, Lanka Tour Managers unless it is clearly stated at the traveller’s tour programe.
We shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or damage to person, property, or otherwise in connection with any accommodation, transportation or other services, resulting – directly or indirectly – from any act of GOD, dangers, fire, accident, breakdown in machinery or equipment, breakdown of transport, wars, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferages, epidemics, medical or defaults, or any other causes beyond our control.
Clients together with their personal property including baggage are at all times solely at their own risk. Clients are wholly responsible for arranging their own insurance.
We strongly advise that all tourists carry comprehensive travel and medical insurance.(see Travel Insuarance above)
